One loaded, the software is extremely easy to use opting for a simple image-led user interface. The Vidbox does not require external power as it is powered through USB and comes with software on a disc as well as an unlock key for a digital download. The device itself has three ports a USB, the RCA (Composite) and the S-Video and can work with The build quality feels good and it has survived a couple of drops already… You can blame my two girls for that test.

Vidbox for Mac from Honestech is compact and comes in a stylish white gloss finish. Until however, I got my Vidbox for Mac, a nifty little gadget that makes it extremely easy to convert VHS to digital formats. The point to this ramble is the fact that many of these shows were lovingly captured on VHS and stowed away in cupboards and attics somewhere, never to see the light of day. I also enjoyed making video on a green screen at such places as Universal Studios in the US and ITV studios in the UK. This must of stuck with me because after this I never shyer away from a camera again and went on to appear in various other shows from The Price is Right to Britain’s Best Dish. To cut a long story short I had a couple of hiccups and ended up being shouted at during a board meeting (on TV). I was lucky to be in management as the advertising manager, and tasked with drawing up visuals and creating share documents for the parents/investors. Different roles were assigned to the various students from production line workers to the managing director.
I think it all stemmed from when I was 8 years old and my class was filmed starting a popcorn making company from our classroom.

Leftovers will be found from both applications! Carefully check the ones you want to remove.A million years ago I went through a phase of trying to get on game shows and TV shows. I have started remove Roxio but got this message so didn't proceed.ĭirect X Runtime is installed in the same location as Roxio Easy VHS to DVD 3! I have the revo uninstaller ,the only thing that worries me is,if i remember right i had roxio installed on a computer many, many years ago and i removed it and it affected that computer badly once removed I know they are spose to be there but i also need to know if the devise is connected Sort of getting mixed messages about the USB port, you say not to worry about it, someone says its not working because the USB is underpowered.Īlso i look in the "this PC" to see if the computer recognizes it ( the device) and it i connects,if i cannot see that then how would i know, i could look for those 2 entries in device manager all day A friend mentioned about getting powered USB hub,do you think this might help? Just now i plugged it in again,(Acer laptop blue USB) nothing showed and i checked the device manager and under Sounds,Video and game controllers neither one of those two items in your screenshot shows This morning i plugged it back in that same port ( blue 3.0) and nothing showed. I tried the Roxio program again but no signal from the camcorder I came back to this laptop (Dell) and tried the device in another USB port and it showed in "this PC" and looked like it was loading but if i remember it went away and i did not see it in "this PC" When i plugged it in, it showed in the "this PC' screen and looked like it was loading itself, The device does not show up at all (Dell laptop)Īs i said yesterday i tried the device in my other (Acer) laptop in the blue USB port, i assume that is a 3.0 I have enclosed a screen shot, with the device plugged in, also a screen shot of the device manager with the device plugged in I guess i got the name wrong, it is called "this PC" usually when i plug anything in a USB port it shows up there, Is that what your other Lap looks like? How about this one? One is not enough and there should not be one with Exclamation Mark like you see in my picture by Multimedia Video Controller! (subsequently resolved) Without those 2 entries it isn't going to happen. With the USB device plugged in your Device Manager must look like this: (I realize that some of this you might know, but just need to make sure we are on the same page) Of course the USB device has to be plugged into the Lap in order for it to show up in the Device Manger. No idea what that is in the Device Manager? I looked on my PC's and don't see anything of that title.

On there you say it shows up under "my pc location". Of course USB 3 will accept and work with any USB 2 device, so don't leave them out.Īnother 'power' issue is trying to run on internal battery vs outlet and power adapter The power output varies for the ports on a Dell, some offer the higher milliamps to power devices and the difference is that some are double the power of others on their laps.
AI R: I have been following along but not chimed in until now.
